In order to apply to Fay, a candidate and family must take the following steps:

Download the Applicant Schedule Calendar. Complete the application and return it to the Director of Admission along with the application fee. (Application fee is needed to process any applications/ required for Lower School prior to a visit)

All previous educational testing and evaluations must be received before action can be taken on an application.

Visit the School for a personal interview and tour, preferably on weekdays while classes are in session, or on weekdays during the summer. The date and time should be arranged in advance, which may be done by calling the Office of Admission at 1.508.490.8201. |

All candidates for grades four through nine are required to take the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children-IV (WISC-IV) test. |

| Financial Aid: All candidates for aid must complete, by February 15, the Parent Financial Statement (PFS), which is available here from NAIS, the National Association of Independent Schools. Awards are determined on an annual basis and are need-based. |
Please refer to the Applicant Schedule calendar for all dates regarding applications and decisions. Decisions on day student candidates whose folders are complete will be mailed on March 10, 2010. If you would like your child to be considered for the first round of day decisions, please complete your application packet by February 15, 2010. Fay will continue to accept qualified candidates after these dates until the grades are filled. Wait pools are often established. Decisions on boarding students will begin to be mailed on January 10, 2010, and will continue on a rolling basis until all available spaces are filled. If you would like your child to be considered for the first round of boarding decisions, please complete your application packet by December 1, 2009. Parents are asked to respond to first-round acceptances within thirty days.
To hold a place for your child, a deposit and an enrollment contract must be submitted. Details regarding clothing, course selection, and other pertinent information are sent upon confirmation of enrollment and thereafter.
