Primary Artists at Youth Art Month Exhibits

Students in grades K through 12 from across Massachusetts have been selected to have their artwork displayed as part of the 2024 Statewide Youth Art Month Exhibit sponsored by the Massachusetts Art Education Association. Youth Art Month (YAM) is a national celebration held each year during March that emphasizes the value of art education for all children and encourages support for quality school art programs. This year's state exhibit is virtual, and Fay's student work can be viewed here. The following Fay students have artwork featured in the statewide exhibit: Camila HC. '32, Vivian S. '32, Leo Z. '32, Luna W. '33, Elena J. '31, Callen B. '32, Ada S. '32, and Allyson A. '32.

In exciting news, Leo Z. '32 won first place for first graders in Massachusetts! In addition to being in the online Youth Art Month State Exhibit, Leo's work will also be shown in the National Art Education Association's annual exhibit at the national convention in Minnesota this April. Congratulations, Leo!

Regional Youth Art Month exhibits are also taking place this month. The following Fay artists have work on display at the Worcester Art Museum: Roysan L. '33, Elise L. '32, Henry B. '32, and Leonie P. '31. Henry won first place in the regional competition for first graders. Congratulations, Henry! The Worcester exhibit will be open to the public through Sunday, March 31, in the Higgins Education Wing. Admission to this exhibit is free.
