Grandparents and Special Friends Day 2024 - Photos

As we shared on Grandparents and Special Friends Day, Fay recently received an anonymous, unsolicited donation of $1M to start an endowed fund named for Fay’s departing head of school, Rob Gustavson. The fund’s purpose is to sustain and enhance the strength of Fay’s faculty by helping to ensure that Fay’s compensation levels for teachers, in all grades, remain competitive with Fay’s peer schools. With the donation, the donor wrote, “We hope that our donation will challenge and inspire the Fay community to make their own donations to this fund – thus helping to ensure continuing teaching excellence at Fay.”   

 

This year, we are asking you (and all Fay grandparents and special friends) to show your support for Fay School by making a donation to the Gustavson Faculty Compensation Fund Challenge, by June 9, 2024. Your gift will directly impact all students at Fay by fortifying the School’s ability to attract and retain outstanding classroom teachers. What could be more important than that?
