Private Lessons
Take your playing to the next level.
In addition to regular weekly music classes, Fay offers individual music lessons for students in grades five through nine for an additional fee in piano, voice, strings (violin, viola, and cello), woodwinds (flute, clarinet, saxophone, oboe), brass (trumpet, trombone, baritone horn, tuba), guitar, and percussion.
Schedule Private lessons are 45 minutes in duration and take place during one study period in the student’s rotating schedule. Students must commit for each full term.
Cost Lessons are $60 each. Students receiving financial aid are also eligible to receive financial aid for private music lessons.
Billing Each student's account will be billed in two-week cycles throughout the academic year.
Registration Registration occurs as part of the school’s annual registration process. Lesson requests made after the start of the academic year should be directed to the Arts Department at pmontgomery@fayschool.org.
Recital Each student is required to play in the school’s annual spring recital.
