The 2024-25 Fay Fund

Why does Fay School have a Fay Fund?

At Fay, tuition revenue funds about 80% of the full cost of educating our student body. (In effect, even families who do not receive financial aid still receive a significant tuition discount.) The leading source of “the other 20%” of necessary revenue is the Fay Fund.

Every year, the School asks parents/guardians, alumni, and all other adults in the Fay community to give to the Fay Fund. Over the School’s long history, voluntary contributions to the Fay Fund have supported every aspect of the School’s day-to-day operations, including:

  • Attracting, retaining, and cultivating the best teachers
  • Providing faculty and students with cutting-edge curricular materials and technology
  • Maintaining and enhancing our campus and facilities
Without the Fay Fund, our students’ Fay experience would be significantly diminished. That’s why we ask members of the Fay community, “Please give as generously as you can.” For some people, that means giving at a Leadership Society level. For others, it means giving $10. Every gift makes a difference, and every gift is deeply appreciated!

Every gift makes a difference, and every gift is deeply appreciated.
