AM & PM Care (K - Grade 9)

Fay is pleased to offer AM Care (7:00 - 7:40 a.m.) and PM Care (3:00 - 6:00 p.m.) to all students in Kindergarten through grade nine free of charge. Please read the following guidelines as you make your plans for the year:

  • If you know that you will have regular, recurring childcare needs on a weekly basis, please sign up for the full term in advance.
  • If you need to schedule a single AM Care or PM Care session, please do so no less than three business days before the requested session.
  • We have extremely limited availability for emergency, drop-in spots and may not be able to honor all last-minute requests due to staffing limitations.
  • Our ability to staff AM and PM Care appropriately and provide this benefit free of charge relies on families honoring their registration commitments. Families who register for AM and PM Care but do not use their spot may jeopardize their ability to schedule their children for care in the future.

About AM & PM Care

The AM and PM Care program provides age specific care and enrichment for students in Kindergarten through grade nine, five days a week in the mornings and afternoons. Our fall, winter, and spring sessions follow the Fay School Academic Calendar, offering extended day options every day school is in session.

AM Care (Kindergarten - Grade 9)

Fay offers AM Care to all students in Kindergarten through grade nine. AM Care takes place in the Primary Dining Commons from 7:00 to 7:40 a.m. each morning, and members of Fay's faculty and staff supervise students. At the conclusion of AM Care at 7:40 a.m. each day, students in Kindergarten through grade two remain in the Primary Dining Commons; a teacher escorts students in grades three through nine to the Root Building where they are supervised in the Lower School vestibule; and Upper School students proceed to the Root Building.
There will be no breakfast served during AM Care.

Pick-up Procedure

When parents or guardians arrive to pick up their students from Extended Fay, they should call the Extended Fay phone at 508-858-8646. An Extended Fay associate will send the students out to their vehicle. Please note that families may not park and enter the building to pick up their students.

All Extended Fay programs finish promptly at 6:00 p.m. Please make plans accordingly to have your student picked up on time. Any family picking up a student after 6:00 p.m. will be charged a late pick up fee of $30 for every 15 minutes or portion thereof past 6:00 p.m. Late pick-up fees will be charged directly to your Fay School account. After two late pick-ups, the student’s participation in Extended Fay program will be reviewed and may be terminated.
