Please note that Clubs must have a minimum enrollment to run. If a program has low enrollment, students will be able to transfer to another Club or receive a refund. Also, Clubs meet once per week, from 3:00 - 4:30 pm.

  • Keys for Kinders: Piano Club - Kindergarten

    “Keys for Kinders” is a piano club for Kindergarten students. This club will be a group lesson for beginners with no prior experience. The club will take place in Fay’s piano lab, which has six student keyboards connected via a Korg Piano Lab system. Students will learn through singing, playing games, using iPad applications, and through a traditional piano method book (John Thompson’s “Teaching Little Fingers to Play”).

  • STEAM Around the World - Grades K - 1

    Join Creativities Studio for an "around the world" themed STEAM club this spring! Students will "visit" multiple countries and complete themed STEAM activities (science experiments, art projects, and more!) to represent each country and the holidays they celebrate. Examples of the countries to be studied are: Israel, Mexico, France, Germany, Italy, Sweden, United Kingdom, and The Netherlands.

  • Karate Club - Grades K - 2

    Our Karate Club helps develop teamwork, balance, control, discipline, focus, memory, coordination, and fitness by using fun karate drills and exercises. These skills will ultimately benefit students in school and at home. During the club, students can work to earn their white belt or a stripe to add to their white belt if they already have one. Beginners welcome!

  • Dance Club: Musical Theater - Grades 2 - 4

    In this high-energy, fun-filled class, young performers will explore the exciting world of musical theater through dance! Students will learn basic dance techniques while developing skills in rhythm, coordination, and expression, all set to the catchy tunes of popular Broadway shows. Each class will focus on fun choreography, character movement, and storytelling through dance.

  • Sewing Club - Grades 2 - 4

    During this club, students will learn the basics of the sewing machine (including safety!) as well as some different hand stitches. They will use new skills to sew some creative projects, including bags, stuffed animals, and accessories. Each project will take about 2-3 classes to complete, and students will be able to take their creations home when they are finished. 

    No experience is necessary - beginners are welcome. 
    We have all new projects for the spring term!

  • Dance Club: Musical Theater - Grades K - 1

    In this high-energy, fun-filled class, young performers will explore the exciting world of musical theater through dance!   • Ninja Challenge - Grades K - 4

    Join us this spring for our new Ninja Challenge club and immerse yourself into the sport of ninja while working on general fitness, athleticism, agility, and mental acuity. During the club, students will be introduced to a variety of obstacles and will participate in an interactive learning program that incorporates life skills. 

    This program will take place off-campus at USA Ninja in Marlborough. Their facility has specialized obstacles designed for fun and fitness.  Transportation to USA Ninja will be provided by Fay using SAV buses that will be driven by a Fay School staff member.

    During this club, students are taught using a curriculum integrating traditional method books and computer software to allow students to learn at their own pace. Daily practice at home is expected and is essential to student progress. There will be a recital scheduled at the end of the spring to showcase the skills developed.

We will be learning tap code for a Mardi Gras celebration, testing the rules of inertia, challenging the reasons for daylight savings time, celebrating Earth Day, and more! All the projects during the club are designed to expand creativity while spending time with peers and learning new knowledge and skills.

    During this club, students will dive deep into the exciting new world of 3D printing.   • Gamebots Robotics - Grades 3 - 4

    Calling all gamers! Join us for this club to have a blast creating robotic games while learning about robotics with LEGO® Education WeDo 2.0 kits. Students will learn about gear ratio, sensors, programming, and pulleys as they create fun to play games. Whether learning about pulleys while creating speedy go-karts, or levers as they are launching grumpy birds on catapults, students will see simple machines in action. They will begin to think critically about their surroundings and realize all the simple machines they encounter every day. From robotic hockey players to LEGO® brick board games, your child is sure to have fun building, learning, and playing!

  • Multi-Sport Club - Grades K - 2

    Get up, get going, and get active during our Multi-Sport club. F.A.S.T. Athletics will offer a variety of sports each week, such as Soccer, Mat Ball, Basketball, Dodgeball, and Kickball. Programs will include proper stretching and warm-up games as well as learning basic skills of each sport, each class will end with a high energy game with the sport played that day.
    Students will split into groups by age and ability.

  • Robotics FUNdamentals - Grades 2 - 3

    During this club, students will work in small groups to construct a robot using complex gears, pulleys, and engineering skills. They will also have the opportunity to include sensors on their robot and to experiment with picture-block coding software. As always, students will be challenged in fun ways that will captivate their interests and grow their technical skills. 

    This program builds on previous experience with simple machines and engineering while utilizing LEGO® WeDo 2.0.

  • Environmental Science - Grades 2 - 4

    Let your hands and minds dive into the world of environmental science as you clean up oil spills, save the beach from erosion, and dissect owl pellets. During this club, real scientists from Science From Scientists will guide students through hands-on, minds-on activities to understand and solve nature’s greatest mysteries and challenges.

  • Robotics FUNdamentals - Grade K - 1

    In this club, students will begin to explore robotics and engineering design while working with LEGO® WeDo 2.0 kits. They will solve fun robotic challenges and will work with a partner to build a robot using coding, sensors, gears, axles and other mechanical components. Throughout the term, students will be challenged in fun ways that will captivate their interests and grow their technical skills.

    During this club, expert instructors will provide informative and challenging chess lessons to students. Chess teaches children many important life concepts, such as the ability to win graciously and accept defeat with dignity and sportsmanship. Students will be divided into groups according to their age and chess experience. The program will include strategy, lessons, games, and even a mini-chess tournament.

  • Golf Club - Grades 2 - 4

    This spring, we’re excited to turn the Fay School campus into a golf course! Young golfers will learn the basics of golf and will develop their skills with expert instructors. Topics covered during the club will include golf swings, putting, chipping, pitching, proper etiquette, and rules. Students will love this fun and engaging program that will provide skills to last a lifetime.

    Get ready to embark on a creative journey across the globe! During this club, students will explore diverse artistic styles, techniques, and cultural traditions from different countries. They will also learn about famous artists, folk art, and unique artistic mediums used across the globe. Each session will focus on a new region, from Aboriginal dot painting in Australia, Japanese origami, African mask-making, Mexican papel picado, and more.
